Started off as college time hobby nurturing venture, the Ignited Minds Science Club was formed in the year 2019 with a group of science enthusiasts and learners. We loved sharing a common love for stars and planets. Since then, we kept on adding beads to our thread, this beautiful string named astrophiles India came into existence out of the main club. Astrophiles India today, stands as a family of more than 350 members, and we still are expanding. This family exists mainly independent of institutions, but there is a considerable number of schools and university students in the family. In addition, we welcome everyone here.

Astrophiles India conducts its unique story telling sessions on captivating stories behind astronomical discoveries and the remarkable people who made them. Hosted in schools, this event aims to inspire students with the wonders of the universe and the adventures of astronomers. Concepts such as the age of the universe, the solar system, Big Bang, Cosmic Calendar, Black Holes etc are explained with the help of stories.
